Following World War II, his family lived in refugee camps in Northern Italy for several years before securing a visa to emigrate to the United States. Mario Andretti was born in Montona, Istria-now a part of Croatia, but at the time in the Kingdom of Italy.

He also owns a chain of gas stations and a Toyota dealership. He is extremely active in his post-racing life, remaining a spokesperson for several sponsors, as well as serving as vice chairman of Andretti Winery. He has won races in Formula One, Ind圜ar, World Sportscar Championship, and NASCAR. Mario Andretti’s net worth is $130 million. That house was most recently listed for sale around $500,000 and was destroyed in a fire in 2019. After his Indianapolis 500 victory in 1969, the street was renamed Victory Lane. Prior to 1998, Andretti lived in a home on Market Street in Nazareth that he had built in 1968. Construction on the house began in 1995 and the Andrettis have lived there since 1998. The house overlooks the old Nazareth Speedway where Andretti won in 1969. The property includes a game room, a garden, and a swimming pool with a pool house. It was a great honor to speak with 3 time US Driver of the Year, US Driver of the Quarter Century, and Driver of the Decade.American race car driver Mario Andretti’s house is an 18.513-square-foot, 4-bedroom, 15-bathroom Tuscan-style mansion in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Mario is a legend and a national treasure, who has made a name for himself all over the world in his sport as well as his compassion and generosity. (I do challenge him to a race at the one near my house!) Finally, we close the show out talking about his post racing businesses which include a winery, and the nationwide Andretti Indoor Carting and Games entertainment complexes. We talk about some of the automotive innovations that started in racing and are now on every passenger car made He also tells me what it was like to win the Daytona 500, The Indy 500, and the Formula One World Championship. He shares some of his favorite memories of his driving career (which spanned from 1959 to 2000). In this episode Mario and I chat about what brought his family to The United States, and how he and his twin brother Aldo got bitten by the racing bug. Take a walk with me down Fascination Street as I get to know Mario Andretti.
